Wuhan, China

Wuhan is a city of roughly 10 million people located in the eastern part of central China.

I visited Wuhan to attend a meeting, actually flying there, following another meeting, from Saint Petersburg, Russia. Unfortunately, the meeting took up most of my time and it was rainy and windy much of the time I was there, anyway (a total of about 3 days).

The last day, now post meeting, we visited a local botanical garden, ate Hunan-style hot pot, and otherwise rushed to get me to the airport so that I could catch my flight to Shanghai. From there, in the midst of a typhoon, I flew back to the U.S, thus completing my first circumnavigation.

This was my second visit to China so don't feel too sorry for me as I managed to accomplish a fair bit more that first trip. ☺

This is the talk I gave: Storage of Phages as 'Living' Proteinaceous Drugs.

Not my most exciting talk, but potentially useful to some.
