Day five of our Spring Break California excursion/road trip.
| As I write it's been well over six months since we did this, so, alas, I'm a bit sketchy as to what exactly happened. But I think we drove East after our Carmel-By-The-Sea and south day, probably spent the night in a rest area (OK, definitely spent the night in a rest area, on I-5), and then headed back to the Pacific Coast Highway for yet a bit more beach exploring, this time starting at Maverick's Beach, famed for its insanely large (and dangerous) waves… Day 1—Sedona to San Diego Day 2—San Diego to Ragged Point Day 3—Pinnacles National Park Day 4—Carmel-By-The-Sea and South Day 5—Maverick's Beach and South Day 6—Carrizo Plain and Mojave Preserve |
