Parapatric

When ranges of two populations are almost but not quite completely non-overlapping.

Two populations are said to be parapatric, or exhibiting parapatry, if their ranges overlap over only narrow zones, e.g., which potentially are hybrid zones. See also allopatric and sympatric as well as parapatric speciation.
